'One Dimension' by Simian appeared on their debut album 'Chemistry Is What We Are' (2001). Simian split up in 2005, with the two remaining members Ford and Shaw forming the splinter group 'Simian Mobile Disco'. The Mobile Disco duo is more dance oriented and hailed as one of the coolest remixers/DJ teams of the moment.
The videoclip of 'One Dimension' is directed by Geoff McFetridge, a graphic artist and director from LA. As a designer, Geoff's artwork has graced magazine covers, clothing, posters, and furniture. The success of Geoff's graphics career naturally segued into titles and motion graphics for televisi
on and movies. His hand-drawn titles for The Virgin Suicides, a film by Sofia Coppola, drew global attention to his creative approach. McFetridge's commercials and music videos make use of live action, graphics, and animation and won him several prestigious awards. Website: www.simianmobiledisco.
