European (BMW) diesel engines are great as well. for example 3,0liter diesel bi-turbo engine(less than 200cui) has something about 290HP, 560Nm Torque and average consumption is about 7-8liters (2 gallons on 100km)

Why are they soooo expensive though. Damn now a days you cant afford any american car. You have to work at a business company, macdonalds and as a fucking male gigalo to afford these cars. I rather get a BMW or AUDI, more reliable, less gas consumption and in most cases same power. Ford and GM need to change there selling points, NOT EVERYONE IS RICH. The dude at the beggining...affordable. If they ad a 2.0L than maybe ill beleive you.

I'm a staunch supporter of european cars and I don't think most US cars are technically that great. But this camaro is just beautifull - what a car - the yanks do come up with something special once in a while.

Ah but what you don't understand is that in America 290HP is nothing. The camaro is a 'muscle car' not a 'grocery getter'.
This version is much more compatable with a 'daily driver' type of usage.
Diesels are fine, but that's not what this car is.
200hp will get you to and from work just fine, but that's not what this car is.
Fuel econemy is nice, but that's not what this car is.
This is the type of car you drive because you love to drive it. Not simply getting from point 'a' to 'b'.
