im a GM GUY myself but hey gm,ford,chrysler makes alot of his parts in CHINA,CANADA,MEXICO . gm even makes complete cars in china so what about that "BUY AMERICAN MADE?" gm made alot of his cars in canada like the CAMARO,TRUCKS, CAVALIERS,COBALTS etc etc... so even if general motors is "american" it's not neceserly made in the U.S.A
are we Idiots to give these inept CEOs money ?

i'm all set with stupid little foreign vehicles
I'd give it to them for a 100% guaranty the battery patents they kept from the market to be made public and a 100% usable electric (500 mile range for 4 people) car, inclusive solar home charge station within 2 years for under 10k USD. ... under a death penalty charge for killing humanity , environment with a 100 year old hydrocarbon's burning technology, just as a "fair make sure" insurance.
Ford Ceo works for 1 dollar year, ok but he gets a 200 million dollar bonus if they get the bailout.. bunch of BS!!!
Where else in the world can you be a 7th grade drop out and get a job making over 50,000$ a year.. BANKO is the only answer, and NO!! it wont force us into a depression, someone else will just buy them and its business as usual but without the unions.
That brings us to the UAW.
I can't think of one company bankrupted by executive pay, but I can name 3 auto makers bankrupted by worker compensation.
When are the people going to catch on???
Labor in the car making cost breakdown is 10%, relative to over 25 executive who because they went to college for 4 years make $12-15million. You and many others seem to be fine with that.
